Do you live or can you get to Chicopee Massachusetts? I Know most people that read my blog are not from the area. But If you are and you or someone you know wants to get their Technician License or would like to upgrade to a General or Extra, then we got a class for you! The Folks at Hampden County Radio Association are putting on a Technician Class as well as a study group for those who are trying to upgrade to either a General or Extra. This is the perfect chance to get or upgrade that Amateur Radio License.
There is NO FEE for the class but we ask that you bring along the latest “The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual” so you can follow along. You can get it at online at the ARRL store or you can contact Instructor John Pise (Kx1x at arrl dot net) to purchase a book.
This will be a 4 part class with an VE exam following the Last class
Classes will be held on the following dates
- 1st Class – Monday, January 09, 2012 – 7:00-8:30pm
- 2nd Class – Monday, January 16, 2012 – 7:00-8:30pm
- 3rd Class – Monday, January 23, 2012 – 7:00-8:30pm
- 4th Class – Saturday, January 28, 2012 – 9:00am-3:00pm
- VE (Test) session following the Last class at 3:00pm
